About Us - Luke & Meredith
We at Sunflower & Red are a small, family-owned business, run by a husband and wife team creating products together that complement our individual interests and specialties.

At the beginning of our marriage, before we had our four children, we moved to Nome, Alaska for a period of time. While there, we spent countless hours combing the beaches of the Bering Sea for Sea Glass together. Years later, Meredith has finally carved out the time to craft their large collection of Sea Glass into beautiful works of art.

Meredith also makes our Leather Bowls, individually hand-forming, hand-dyeing, and hand-painting them with care.

Luke thoughtfully designs, and together we build out, our mini survival kits. He strove to create a product that was useful, practical and high quality. The idea for Survive-A-Can came from a simple article about beeswax candles and how long and clean-burning they are compared to any other candle. The notion of how perfect that would be for a survival kit arose, and the idea for Survive-A-Can was born!

Together we formulate and craft our selection of Body Balms and Lotion Bars from only high quality, simple ingredients such as USA-sourced beeswax, organic, raw, unrefined shea butter, organic raw, unrefined coca butter, and organic extra virgin olive oil.
